What counts as a material correction

• an incorrect document status or decision-making body;
• an error in a date, number, deadline, threshold, or affected group;
• a source that does not support the key claim;
• wording that changes the practical meaning of the conclusion.

How a correction is shown

A material correction receives a visible note stating its date and briefly describing the change in meaning. Spelling, style, and technical edits that do not change meaning may be made without a separate entry.

Please retain the article URL, disputed passage, supporting official source, and a short explanation.
